Suez Canal and Its Features

The Suez canal is located in the west of Egypt’s Sinai peninsula. The narrowest part of the canal, which is 193.3 kilometers long, is 313 meters wide. Its deepest point is 24 meters. There is no need to wander the Cape of Good Hope and African beaches. By connecting Asia and Europe, it provides thousands of kilometers of advantage to merchant ships. The Suez Canal, which is among the most important waterways of the world, not only provides mileage advantage, but also provides significant benefits in fast delivery of the transported products and reduction in product costs, but the Channel is very safe in ship crossings.
